As the country advances toward becoming a global leader in smart infrastructure, sustainable development, and urban innovation, students across the Emirates are stepping forward with fresh perspectives and bold solutions.

Celebrating this momentum, The Technology Express Innovation Hackathon 2025, sponsored by iFund Factoring, was held in partnership with the UAE Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy & Remote Work Applications Office, hosted by Zayed University, and supported by key institutional partners including Dubai AI Campus, DMCC AI Centre, Dubai Police Academy, NextGen Center, and the College of Technological Innovation. This landmark event convened 500 students from 25 universities, driven by 30+ hours of concentrated innovation, mentorship, and real-world challenge-solving across 10 distinct tracks.

The Future Builders track focused on the design and development of next-generation infrastructure, smart cities, and sustainable urban solutions. Participants explored how emerging technologies can create resilient, livable, and environmentally conscious communities that anticipate the needs of future populations. Out of a highly competitive pool, the team Movu from Ajman University was selected as the winning entry by a jury of 15 experts, following rigorous evaluation and deliberation over all submitted solutions. Their project best met the Future Builders brief, showcasing creativity and strategic thinking essential for tomorrow’s urban landscapes.
