Hytera celebrates 10 years at Burj Khalifa

Hytera, a leading global provider of professional communications technologies, celebrated its UAE subsidiary’s 10th anniversary with a stunning light show at Burj Khalifa. The event took place during the partner summit for the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region in Dubai on May 16th.

For a decade, Hytera has driven digital transformation across various sectors in the Middle East. Its UAE branch has revolutionized public safety communications systems, enhancing the safety and efficiency of utilities, transportation, and energy sectors. Hytera’s cutting-edge technologies include critical communications, control room solutions, body-worn cameras (BWC), and digital evidence management (DEM).

The Hytera Global Partner Summit (HGPS)-MEA at Atlantis The Palm welcomed industry stakeholders and guests to celebrate key partnerships. Additionally, the event featured the Hytera branding show on Burj Khalifa’s LED display, symbolizing a decade of local partnership, progress, and innovation in the MEA region.

Stanley Song, VP of Hytera and head of Hytera UAE, stated, “The 10th anniversary of our UAE office marks a significant milestone. It underscores our commitment to driving innovation and fostering partnerships throughout the region. Initially, Hytera aimed to meet rapidly evolving communication needs across key sectors. Today, we are proud of the value we’ve delivered through our partnership ecosystem.”

Hytera has achieved significant market penetration over the past ten years. Accordingly, around 50% of communications devices, including two-way radios, used by public safety agencies in the region, come from Hytera. The company also holds a dominant presence in the energy (70%) and mass transit (50%) sectors. Hytera’s safe explosion-proof radios have upgraded safety standards in high-risk environments such as fire rescue, oil and gas, and mining.
