Huawei Cloud, in collaboration with the Center for Digital Entrepreneurship (CODE) and NAUATECH, recently hosted the 2025 Huawei Cloud Developer Conference at CODE’s headquarters in Riyadh. This strategic event aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and underscores Huawei’s commitment to supporting local digital talent.
The conference brought together developers, entrepreneurs, and startup leaders from across the Kingdom. It served as a platform to introduce Huawei Cloud’s growing suite of AI-powered and cloud-native development tools. Additionally, the event focused on strengthening the digital ecosystem by promoting skills development and cloud adoption.
Throughout the conference, participants attended hands-on training sessions and learned about programs like the Huawei Cloud Developer Program (HCDP), Huawei Cloud Startup Program, and Huawei Cloud Certified Developer for AI (HCCDX). These initiatives provide technical education, business guidance, and globally recognized certifications. As a result, developers can improve their career prospects and build innovative, scalable solutions.
Expanding Infrastructure and Cloud Capabilities
Huawei also announced a significant expansion of its cloud offerings in Saudi Arabia. Moving from 90 to over 200 cloud services, the company aims to bolster digital infrastructure and meet growing demand. These services will be backed by three Availability Zones in the Riyadh Region, ensuring robust performance and resilience.
Further strengthening its local presence, Huawei received the “Class C” certification from the Communications, Space & Technology Commission (CST). This rating reflects compliance with the highest standards for cloud platforms in terms of security, performance, and reliability.
To support AI-driven innovation, Huawei presented its ModelArts platform. This tool dramatically shortens AI deployment times and enables applications in smart cities, digital humans, and smart education. As digital transformation accelerates, such tools provide tangible benefits across sectors.
Tools, Case Studies, and Ecosystem Growth
Another major highlight was the showcase of CodeArts, Huawei’s integrated DevSecOps platform. It supports more than 20 programming languages and streamlines cloud migration with tools like code scanning and continuous integration. Consequently, enterprises and startups can enhance development efficiency and security.
Real-world success stories from companies including Systems Arabia, FanRuan, Dyna.AI, and NAS Solutions illustrated the practical benefits of Huawei Cloud’s tools. These case studies demonstrated how businesses are using AI capabilities to scale operations and drive innovation.
By combining infrastructure investments, developer training, and strong partnerships, Huawei is actively contributing to Saudi Arabia’s digital ambitions. The 2025 Developer Conference reaffirmed Huawei Cloud’s role in fostering a dynamic innovation ecosystem, empowering local talent to shape the Kingdom’s future.
