Huawei aims for the industry’s top spot with better P60 camera

Huawei brought back its imaging flagship Mate 50 Series in September 2022, delivering industry-leading performance and unique technology like as a multi-stop variable aperture camera, satellite connectivity, and Kunlun glass. According to industry sources, Huawei has resolved the supply chain issue, and further model revisions, including the Mate and P series, will resume regular distribution.

Now after the success of the Mate50 series, the next to the lookout is the Huawei P60 Series flagship phone. According to the reports, Huawei P60 will meet us in the first quarter of 2023, possibly around March.

In the meantime, Digital Chat Station brought a new report about the camera upgrade of the Huawei P60 Series. Claiming that Huawei P60 will use a 50-megapixel rear camera combination of IMX7 series + IMX8 series sensors, the main camera sensor is larger than the previous generation. In addition, sensors are also the industry’s first launch.

In terms of design, Huawei P60 rear camera module design will usher a major change, in the overall vertical rectangular design. The center of the main camera is very prominent, and the outside is also expected with the iconic star ring elements.

Huawei P series represents an advancement in imaging technology, and I believe the P60 is no exception. Although little is known about the detailed configuration of the Huawei P60 series, it will certainly be stronger than the Huawei Mate50 and P50 series and is worth waiting for.
