“Horizon Zero Dawn” Movie Adaptation Announced by Sony

The celebrated action role-playing game Horizon Zero Dawn is officially being adapted into a feature film. Originally launched in 2017, the game follows Aloy, a skilled hunter and outcast, as she unravels her mysterious origins and battles mechanical creatures in a post-apocalyptic world.

During Sony’s CES 2025 press conference, PlayStation Studios and Columbia Pictures confirmed they are in the early stages of developing the movie. The adaptation is expected to delve into Aloy’s origin story and her journey through a futuristic landscape dominated by robotic beasts.
