Google Unveils Ask Advisor to Transform AI Marketing Workflows

Google introduced Ask Advisor at Google Marketing Live 2026 as a unified AI agent built on Gemini models for marketers. Previously, marketers had to rely on separate AI assistants across Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Marketing Platform, and Merchant Center. Now, Ask Advisor brings those capabilities into one collaborative interface, allowing teams to launch campaigns, analyze performance, and receive optimization suggestions without switching between platforms.

Moreover, the system coordinates specialist AI agents across the broader advertising ecosystem, including Display & Video 360. Because of this integration, marketers can manage campaign execution and strategic analysis through a single conversational workflow.

Natural Language Campaign Creation and Insights

The platform works through natural language prompts, making campaign setup significantly faster. For example, a marketer could ask the agent to “find new customers for my hair care products,” and Ask Advisor would automatically retrieve product details from Merchant Center, build a campaign in Google Ads, and prepare it for launch within just a few steps.

In addition, Ask Advisor connects performance data across products to generate clearer insights. It combines campaign metrics from Google Ads with audience behavior from Google Analytics, helping marketers understand outcomes while also recommending practical next actions.

Beta Rollout and Broader AI Push

Ask Advisor is currently in global beta for English-language accounts, while more features will roll out over the coming months. Meanwhile, a Merchant Center-specific version remains in development, though no timeline for additional language support has been shared.

The launch also came alongside several other AI-focused advertising announcements, including new ad formats for AI-powered search experiences, native checkout functionality through Universal Cart, and expanded creative tools in Asset Studio. Google described Ask Advisor as “your always-on strategic partner, connecting the dots across our products to help you save time and grow your business.”

“Think of it as a single thread of intelligence,” a Google executive said of Ask Advisor during a virtual press briefing ahead of the event.
