The Dubai Electronic Security Center (DESC), in partnership with the World Bank Group, has announced the inaugural Global Government Cloud Forum, scheduled for January 21, 2025, at the Museum of the Future in Dubai.

The forum is set to welcome over 350 attendees, including more than 100 international government representatives, over 50 renowned global speakers, and 30 leading innovators in government cloud technology. This landmark event aims to redefine the future of cloud computing and leverage its potential to drive digital transformation and innovation.

“This forum is a pivotal milestone in our efforts to position Dubai as a global hub for innovation, security, and smart governance. By embracing cloud technologies, we are building a secure, efficient, and sustainable future for governments and cyberspace worldwide,” stated Yousuf Hamad Al Shaibani, CEO of DESC.

Focus on Government Technology
The Global Government Cloud Forum will serve as a platform for thought leaders and decision-makers to explore how cloud technologies can revolutionize public administration, enhance governance, and promote sustainable development globally.

Key topics include artificial intelligence, IoT, quantum computing, sustainable cloud solutions, and cloud applications for development—aligned with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33’s vision to establish Dubai as a global technology leader.
