FUJIFILM launches Instax WIDE Evo™ for Creative Photography
FUJIFILM Corporation officially launched its high-end hybrid instant camera, the instax WIDE Evo™, across the Middle East on May 1, 2025. Building on the success of the globally popular instax mini Evo™, this new model supports WIDE format film offering double the size of the standard instax prints.
Unlike traditional instant cameras, WIDE Evo allows users to preview their shots via a built-in LCD screen. This means users can select and print only their favorite images. Additionally, it doubles as a smartphone printer, offering more functionality in a single device. Thanks to ten lens effects and ten film effects including favorites like “Magenta,” “Monochrome,” “Light Leak,” and “Color Gradient” users can create up to 100 unique shooting combinations. These effects can be further adjusted using the new “Degree Control” dial, which enables fine-tuning of light and color across 100 levels.
Enhanced Creativity Through Features and App Integration
The camera’s “Film Style” feature frames shots with unique designs, enhancing the visual impact of WIDE prints. Meanwhile, “Wide Angle Mode” allows users to capture a broader field of view, ideal for group photos or scenic landscapes.
The physical design of the WIDE Evo is just as refined. With a black body accented by metallic finishes, the camera offers analog-like operability through functional dials and a tactile “Print Crank.” These features appeal to users who appreciate a hands-on experience.
Coinciding with the camera launch, FUJIFILM also introduced a new film: “BRUSHED METALLICS”, a stylish format with a dark, metallic gradient border that enhances the aesthetic of each 3” x 5” print.
Through the dedicated instax WIDE Evo™ app (available for iOS and Android), users can explore the “Discover Feed” to see creative shots posted by others. Using Bluetooth, they can save and replicate favored effect combinations on their own device. Furthermore, the app enables users to directly print smartphone images and edit background colors before sharing on social media.

Priced at USD 349 (excluding VAT), instax WIDE Evo™ is available throughout the MENA region. In Saudi Arabia, it can be purchased on Noon and Amazon. In the UAE, it will soon be available via Grandstores, while retailers in Kuwait, Qatar, Iraq, and Egypt include Xcite, Electronyat.qa, Thikrayat-est.com, and Fotoexpresseg.com respectively.
