F.E.A.R. 3: First game to implement Goal Oriented Action Planning through exceptional AI

F.E.A.R 3, also stylized as F.3.A.R, is a first-person shooter game that is predominantly a psychological horror video game and is the third in its series. It was developed by Day 1 Studios, published by Warner Bros. Games, and released on all platforms in 2011. It can be played both in single-player mode or co-op mode, which can be played offline via split screen.

There are several other upgrades that the player can visualize while playing the newer version of the FEAR franchise. The player could support only two types of arms initially, but the upgrade allows the player to carry over five arms. Overall, the realistic factor of the game makes it immensely popular in the gaming world. It flows from the conclusion of F.E.A.R 2, which triggers a paranormal catastrophe. However, the players initially were reporting that the visuals do not appear to be extremely appealing. The graphics implemented in the game are quite basic, and some have also reported lagging while the game is being played. This was reported predominantly by people who were using old computer systems that were incapable of supporting the graphics of the game. With better upgrades, the players seem to love the graphical representation and the AI used in the game has proved to be better quality on all platforms.

With consonance to the actual concept of the game, the AI brings about some radical graphics that successfully set the dark mood of the game. Creating phenomenal backgrounds for dark to dimly lit backgrounds could be quite a tricky task as the visibility and accessibility of the gamer’s experience could be hampered if not devised in the correct manner. In F.E.A.R. 3, the graphics have surpassed several contemporary games and have readily become quite famous in the gaming industry.

The induction of AI to build a gaming platform with a grungy effect could be quite challenging, but the developers have proved it all wrong. The key elements of the game, such as the apparitions, enemies, and scares, were extremely realistic, and the AI used in the game helps to detect the event in which the trigger would come next. The spontaneity in the game, which is brought in by the latest technology, has been responsible for its widespread success not only among the players but in the gaming market as well.
