The Radeon RX 9060 XT, built on AMD’s RDNA™ 4 architecture, targets mainstream gamers with smooth 1440p gameplay. It features FSR 4, a machine learning-based upscaling technology that enhances frame rates and image quality. These chips deliver unprecedented core counts, memory bandwidth, and PCIe 5.0 lanes to professional workstations and enthusiast desktops. For example, the flagship Threadripper PRO 9995WX packs 96 cores and 192 threads, making it ideal for AI training, VFX rendering, and simulation. These processors also include enterprise-grade security and management features, making them suitable for complex professional environments. For creators who require workstation-level power in a desktop platform, the Threadripper 9000 Series offers up to 64 cores, enabling efficient content creation and AI workflows locally.

Availability and Industry Impact

AMD’s Radeon RX 9060 XT graphics cards will launch later this year with starting prices of $299 for the 8GB model and $349 for the 16GB variant. The Radeon AI PRO R9700 is expected in July 2025, while Threadripper PRO 9000 WX-Series processors will be available through major OEMs such as Dell, HP, and Lenovo, with retail availability planned from July as well.
