Abu Dhabi Police have launched the sixth edition of their awareness campaign, Be Cautious, to reinforce digital security and protect the community from emerging forms of cyber fraud. The campaign aims to strengthen digital awareness and encourage individuals to stay alert against online scams spreading across the UAE.

Organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior, the UAE Cybersecurity Council, Abu Dhabi Media, and several banking partners, the three-month initiative seeks to build a strong culture of cybersecurity across the emirate. The campaign highlights the importance of safeguarding personal data and promoting secure online practices among residents.

Major General Mohamed Suhail Al Rashdi, Director of the Criminal Security Sector, said the campaign reflects Abu Dhabi Police’s continued commitment to raising public awareness of cybercrimes. He noted that the initiative aligns with the UAE Centennial 2071 and Abu Dhabi Vision 2030, by fostering trust in secure communication channels and encouraging responsible digital behavior.

Raising Awareness Across the Community

The Be Cautious campaign features a series of interactive events, workshops, and educational programs that reach diverse audiences through traditional and digital media. These include community councils, schools, and universities, ensuring that individuals of all ages gain the knowledge needed to protect themselves online.
