Abu Dhabi Housing Authority Uses Digital Twin for Housing Projects

The Abu Dhabi Housing Authority has unveiled its latest initiative (Digital Twin): the adoption of digital twin technology to enhance the presentation of its housing projects. This new approach leverages 3D real-time visualization to offer a comprehensive look at available housing options. In collaboration with NNTC, a prominent UAE firm specializing in digital twin innovations, the Authority now provides an immersive virtual experience, allowing potential residents to explore and interact with housing options and secure bookings seamlessly.

Powered by cutting-edge tools such as Unreal Engine 5 and NVIDIA’s DLSS technology, the system delivers a detailed 3D representation of both the interiors and exteriors of over 3,000 residences.

Users can navigate through virtual tours of residential complexes, examining infrastructure, amenities, and services on offer. Integration with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) further enhances the platform by offering real-time housing details and streamlining the booking process.

This advanced solution is available through digital kiosks at the ‘ISKAN Abu Dhabi Center’ and via the ‘ISKAN Abu Dhabi’ app, which consolidates all services provided by the authority into a single, user-friendly platform.

His Excellency Hamad Hareb Al Muhairi, Director General of Abu Dhabi Housing Authority, remarked, “We look forward to leveraging the adoption of these modern technologies to showcase ADHA’s housing projects through an advanced system that simulates reality. This aligns with our continuous efforts to develop more technologies to enhance our customers’ experience and empower them to make informed decisions regarding their housing needs.”

Dmitry Doshaniy, General Director of NNTC, highlighted the transformative impact of the new system, noting its potential to revolutionize the housing sector by setting new standards and enhancing the selection process for appropriate housing. Moreover, he expressed pride in collaborating with the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority and optimism about the project’s positive impact on their services.
