Dubai Chambers has introduced a new Agentic AI category under the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Business Award, recognising companies that use autonomous AI systems to deliver measurable business results.

Announced on 1 November 2026, the category will recognise Dubai-based private-sector companies that demonstrate practical, responsible applications of agentic artificial intelligence. The initiative aims to encourage businesses to move beyond AI experimentation and integrate autonomous systems into their daily operations.

The new category is open to companies across all business sectors in Dubai. It also highlights the growing role of agentic AI in improving productivity, automating workflows, supporting business decisions, and strengthening competitiveness.

Four Pillars Will Guide Award Evaluation

Dubai Chambers will assess entries against four key pillars:

  • Agentic AI Talent Readiness: Evaluates the skills and capabilities required to adopt and manage agentic AI.

  • Implementation and Use Cases: Examines the quality, integration, scalability and governance of deployed AI applications.

  • Cybersecurity Alignment: Reviews cybersecurity safeguards and compliance with relevant regional and international standards.

  • Measurable Business Results: Assesses improvements in productivity, growth, customer experience, sustainability and competitiveness.

The framework also emphasises responsible deployment. Companies must demonstrate appropriate human oversight, cybersecurity safeguards and governance controls.

The award specifically targets businesses that have progressed beyond pilot projects and successfully deployed agentic AI applications at scale.

Independent Jury to Select the Winner

The new category will follow the award’s established assessment process. An independent panel of expert judges will review submissions and shortlist qualifying companies.

Shortlisted applicants will then present their AI applications and business results to the jury. Following its assessment, the panel will select one winner.

The category joins three existing award categories:

  • Outstanding Business Award, sponsored by Dubai Chambers.

Part of Dubai’s Wider Agentic AI Programme

The announcement forms part of Dubai’s broader programme to accelerate agentic AI adoption across the private sector. The initiative follows directives from Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai.

Earlier, Dubai Chambers introduced specialised agentic AI training tracks for more than 14,000 companies affiliated with its Business Groups and Business Councils. The programme helps businesses identify practical applications and develop the skills needed to deploy autonomous AI systems.

Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, said the category would encourage companies to translate agentic AI capabilities into measurable business outcomes.

Through these initiatives, Dubai aims to strengthen private-sector innovation, improve operational efficiency and expand the adoption of advanced technologies. The efforts also support its ambition to reinforce the emirate’s position as a global centre for business and the digital economy.
