Bengaluru Skill Summit 2026

Organised by the Department of Skill Development, Entrepreneurship and Livelihood (SDEL), Government of Karnataka, the summit is hosted by the Karnataka Skill Development Corporation (KSDC), in collaboration with the Karnataka Skill Development Authority (KSDA), with the Karnataka Digital Economy Mission (KDEM) serving as knowledge partner. Managed by Trescon, the event builds on its inaugural 2025 edition and aims to strengthen cooperation between government, industry, academia, and international organisations. The programme is designed to connect workforce policy with employer requirements, emerging skills, and opportunities for global employment.
Expect a programme featuring policy dialogues, keynote sessions, industry panels, roundtables, masterclasses, fireside chats, and a Skill Expo Pavilion. The summit will address emerging skills in artificial intelligence, Industry 4.0, green jobs, and the digital economy, as well as inclusive skilling, global employability, and workforce mobility. Additional activities include the Skillathon innovation challenge for youth and institutions, the Kaushalya Karnataka Awards, and showcases of training solutions and skills-development initiatives.

A Platform for Innovation and Growth
Over three days, Bengaluru Skill Summit 2026 will connect skills policy with industry needs, training innovation, and employment opportunities. Its programme will help participants examine how education providers, employers, and public institutions can respond to technological change and develop training systems that better reflect workforce demand. The Skill Expo Pavilion, Innovation Stage, and Skillathon will add practical dimensions to discussions about future skills and talent development.
As Karnataka strengthens its workforce development ecosystem, the summit will provide a platform for collaboration between government, industry, academia, and international partners. Its focus on scalable skills programmes, inclusive access, and global employability will support discussions about preparing workers for emerging industries and helping employers access relevant talent. The longer-term value of these efforts will depend on how partnerships and ideas translate into training opportunities, stronger employment pathways, and measurable workforce outcomes.
