Future Islamic Finance Forum 2026

Future Islamic Finance Forum 2026 brings together global leaders in Islamic banking, financial technology, investment, and regulation to examine the next phase of Shariah-compliant finance. Taking place at Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai on 4 November 2026, the event will explore how financial innovation can support ethical investment, strengthen Islamic capital markets, and expand access to digital financial services. The forum forms part of Dubai Future Finance Week, scheduled for 2–6 November 2026.
Organised by the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), the forum will feature Dubai Islamic Bank as its official co-host. Held under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of the UAE, and President of DIFC, the event is expected to convene more than 800 senior leaders. Participants will include regulators, Shariah scholars, financial institutions, investors, and fintech executives examining opportunities across the global Islamic finance ecosystem.
Expect a programme centred on Shariah-compliant innovation, sustainable sukuk, Takaful technology, and regulatory alignment. Keynotes, panel discussions, fireside chats, and networking sessions will examine the role of artificial intelligence, blockchain, tokenisation, and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles in Islamic finance. The forum will also address the need for stronger cross-border standards and practical frameworks that support innovation while maintaining compliance with Islamic financial principles.
Event Highlights
In-depth Panels & Keynotes: Covering Islamic banking, Shariah governance, ethical investment, digital finance, and regulatory cooperation. Discussions will examine how financial institutions and policymakers can develop new financial products while maintaining compliance with Islamic principles and responding to changing market requirements.
Technology & Innovation Insights: Exploring artificial intelligence, blockchain, tokenisation, smart contracts, and digital financial infrastructure within Shariah-compliant frameworks. Sessions will consider how emerging technologies can support product development, risk management, operational efficiency, and wider access to Islamic financial services.
Sustainable Sukuk & Ethical Investment: Bringing together sustainable finance, ESG investment priorities, and Shariah-compliant capital markets. Discussions will explore how sukuk and other Islamic financial instruments can support climate-aligned investment, infrastructure development, and responsible capital allocation.
Takaful & Regulatory Innovation: Examining technology-driven Islamic insurance, digital protection models, regulatory standards, and cross-border supervision. The programme will consider how artificial intelligence can improve insurance operations and financial inclusion, while regulatory cooperation can strengthen confidence in Islamic financial products.
Networking Opportunities: Connect with financial institutions, regulators, investors, Shariah scholars, fintech founders, and industry executives from markets including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, the United Kingdom, and Indonesia. Dedicated business matchmaking, investor-startup connections, and networking activities will support knowledge exchange and potential partnerships. Delegate access and participation in specific activities depend on registration terms and eligibility.
A Platform for Innovation and Growth
Over the course of one day, Future Islamic Finance Forum 2026 will connect established Islamic financial principles with developments in technology, capital markets, and sustainable investment. Its programme will help participants examine how digital infrastructure, new financial products, and stronger governance can support the responsible development of Islamic finance.
As Dubai strengthens its position as an international financial centre, the forum will provide a platform for collaboration among regulators, financial institutions, investors, and technology companies. By addressing Shariah compliance alongside innovation and cross-border regulatory cooperation, the event will contribute to discussions on expanding Islamic financial services and developing more connected, accessible, and resilient markets.
