Snowflake Expands AI Startup Support Across UAE
Snowflake has introduced Snowflake for Startups in the UAE to help founders build and scale AI applications. The program provides access to Snowflake’s AI Data Cloud, technical resources, commercial opportunities and venture connections.
It also supports the objectives of the UAE’s We the UAE 2031 vision, which promotes entrepreneurship, digital infrastructure and economic diversification.
Building Production-Ready AI
For early-stage companies, Snowflake aims to reduce the infrastructure burden involved in developing AI products. Through the program, startups can build, test and deploy AI applications and agents within Snowflake’s secure environment.
Founders can also use Snowflake’s Cortex REST API to connect applications with leading AI models through a unified interface. This lets startups develop AI products while managing data, security, and governance in the same environment.
The program also provides Snowflake credits and engineering assistance. Participating companies can also receive go-to-market guidance through the Snowflake Startup Accelerator.
Snowflake says its Marketplace provides startups with access to more than 12,600 potential customers. Meanwhile, Snowflake Ventures offers selected companies a route to capital and strategic support.
Supporting UAE Startup Growth
The program also connects UAE founders with Snowflake’s wider startup ecosystem. As a result, eligible companies can gain technical guidance, customer exposure and connections with investors and partners.
Moreover, Snowflake already supports startup development through its global accelerator. The company says the program provides dedicated technical mentors, credits, go-to-market opportunities and access to venture investors.
Sarwa Demonstrates Data Platform Use
UAE investment platform Sarwa is among the local companies using Snowflake’s AI Data Cloud. The company uses the platform to bring together information from databases, its customer service platform and other systems.
As a result, teams across reporting, operations, marketing and compliance can access a shared data foundation. Sarwa says this approach also supports its broader data requirements as the business develops.
The launch comes as Snowflake expands its presence in the UAE. In January 2026, the company made its AI Data Cloud generally available on the AWS Middle East (UAE) Region, bringing data and AI workloads closer to local customers and supporting regional data residency requirements.
Therefore, Snowflake’s startup initiative adds another layer to its UAE strategy by targeting founders at the product-building stage. The program combines cloud infrastructure, AI capabilities, technical support and commercial connections as UAE entrepreneurs develop new AI businesses.
