Emirates NBD and DFDF fintech partnership

Emirates NBD has partnered with Dubai Future District Fund (DFDF) to advance fintech and artificial intelligence innovation while enhancing customer experiences. Through this strategic collaboration, both organisations will identify, test and implement technology-driven solutions that improve the efficiency, quality and effectiveness of financial services for Dubai’s citizens and residents.

Furthermore, the partnership will focus on connecting with high-growth startups and adopting scalable solutions across the financial sector. As a result, the collaboration aims to support Dubai’s vision of becoming a global hub for digital finance and entrepreneurship.

DFDF operates as Dubai’s AED 1 billion evergreen venture capital fund of funds, supported by the Dubai International Financial Centre and Dubai Future Foundation. Additionally, the fund focuses on investing in pioneering startups that are shaping the future of finance and broader future economy sectors.

Focus areas for digital transformation

The collaboration will concentrate on several key areas, including AI-driven banking capabilities, embedded finance, digital assets, SME solutions, WealthTech, compliance technologies and next-generation banking infrastructure. Moreover, the partnership will strengthen access to innovative startups developing scalable solutions across these strategic domains.

Through this initiative, advanced technologies will be introduced to improve banking processes and customer services. Therefore, the collaboration is expected to support faster digital transformation, enhanced financial security and more personalised banking experiences.
