XGIMI Launches Horizon 30 Triple Laser Projectors With 4K 120Hz Gaming

XGIMI Horizon 30 Triple Laser Projector

XGIMI has launched its Horizon 30 projector series, introducing three models with advanced gaming and home cinema capabilities. The lineup includes the Horizon 30 Pro, Horizon 30 Max, and Horizon 30 Ultra Max, all featuring RGB Triple Laser DLP technology.

Moreover, the new projectors support genuine 4K playback at 120Hz, alongside improved brightness, contrast, and installation flexibility. The series also integrates Harman Kardon audio systems and intelligent picture adjustment features.

Building on the Horizon lineup introduced in 2021, the latest models combine premium projection technology with distinctive cube-shaped designs.

Horizon 30 Series Delivers Advanced Gaming and Cinema Features

All three Horizon 30 projectors feature the latest 4K/120Hz-capable DLP chipset, delivering full 120Hz playback at 4K resolution. Unlike certain earlier projectors, the new models maintain the full refresh rate without limiting 4K output to 60Hz.

Furthermore, the series supports variable refresh rates, AMD FreeSync, and Auto Low Latency Mode. At 1080p resolution, the projectors also offer 240Hz refresh rates and a claimed 1ms response time.

Additional gaming tools include Virtual Crosshairs and Black Equalizer. Consequently, darker scenes become easier to navigate without affecting overall picture brightness.

For cinematic entertainment, the projectors support Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR10, and HLG formats. Meanwhile, IMAX Enhanced, Filmmaker Mode, and ISF picture modes provide additional viewing options.

Each model also includes two 12W Harman Kardon-designed speakers with DTS Virtual support. Additionally, the integrated audio system complements the series’ distinctive cubic design.

Enhanced Brightness, Contrast and Installation Flexibility

The Horizon 30 series offers different brightness and contrast levels across its three models.

The flagship Horizon 30 Ultra Max delivers a claimed peak brightness of 6,000 ISO lumens and a 10,000:1 native contrast ratio. Meanwhile, the Horizon 30 Max offers 5,300 ISO lumens and a 9,000:1 native contrast ratio.

The Horizon 30 Pro provides 4,800 ISO lumens of peak brightness alongside an 8,000:1 native contrast ratio.

Notably, the Ultra Max delivers 5% higher brightness and seven times greater native contrast than its Horizon 20 predecessor. Additionally, its supported 4K refresh rate doubles to 120Hz.

All three projectors feature ±130% vertical optical image shift and ±50% horizontal shift. Furthermore, a 1.25x optical zoom provides a throw ratio ranging from 1.2:1 to 1.5:1.

The cradle-style mounting system supports 360-degree rotation and 135-degree vertical tilting. Meanwhile, automatic setup features handle keystone correction, focus, obstacle avoidance, screen alignment, and wall colour adaptation.

Connectivity options include two HDMI 2.1 ports supporting 4K at 120Hz, with one offering eARC functionality. Additionally, each projector features USB 3.0, USB 2.0, optical digital audio, and a 3.5mm audio output.
