Halliday Launches Camera-Free AI Smart Glasses for $599

Halliday G2 AI smart glasses

Halliday has introduced the G2 smart glasses, a camera-free wearable designed to improve workplace productivity through AI-powered assistance. The new glasses target professionals who want real-time meeting support without raising privacy concerns. Moreover, the G2 is priced at $599, with shipments expected to begin in September 2026.

Camera-Free Design Focuses on Privacy and Productivity

The Halliday G2 features a monochrome green waveguide display powered by the company’s DigiWindow technology. Instead of using a traditional lens display, it projects text into the wearer’s upper field of view. As a result, users can access information without blocking their natural vision.

Preorders are now open with a $10 deposit, which also provides a $100 discount on the final purchase price.

Unlike many competing smart glasses, the G2 does not include a camera. Consequently, it suits secure workplaces, client meetings, and other environments where recording devices are not permitted. In addition, Halliday says this design choice delivers more than 12 hours of battery life on a single charge.

AI Meeting Assistant Delivers Real-Time Insights

The G2’s flagship feature, Meeting Flow, uses embedded microphones to transcribe and analyze workplace conversations. During meetings, the AI provides live context, tracks discussion topics, confirms decisions, and highlights commitments through the heads-up display.

After each meeting, the system generates full transcripts and summaries that users can access through a companion app. Furthermore, a 30-second rewind feature helps users review missed discussions, while the quick-research tool answers questions without requiring a smartphone.

Subscription Plans Add Translation and Teleprompter Tools

Halliday offers AI features through multiple subscription tiers. The free plan includes 120 minutes of recording time, while paid plans range from $10 to $99 per month.

Additionally, the G2 includes a teleprompter mode called Cheatsheet, live translation in more than 45 languages, and a stealth mode that dims the display in dark environments to reduce distractions.

Users can control the glasses with a smart ring featuring a trackpad-like surface, a physical button, and touch controls on the frame. At just 35 grams, the G2 closely resembles conventional eyewear, making it easier to integrate wearable AI into everyday professional settings.
