NVIDIA has expanded its Agent Toolkit by adding Omniverse libraries that help developers build AI agents capable of creating and managing simulation-ready 3D environments. The update strengthens NVIDIA’s push into physical AI by giving enterprise developers open-source tools for robotics, industrial digital twins, autonomous systems, and spatial computing. As a result, AI agents can now perform more complex tasks beyond text generation and software automation.
The newly released libraries are available on GitHub and support NVIDIA RTX sensor simulation, GPU-accelerated physics simulation, and simulation-ready asset validation. Moreover, developers can integrate these capabilities into existing applications without rebuilding their software stack. NVIDIA also introduced a new Blender blueprint that simplifies the process of bringing Omniverse libraries into content creation workflows.
Omniverse Libraries Extend Physical AI Capabilities
The expanded toolkit enables AI agents to understand and prepare 3D assets for real-world simulation. Consequently, developers can automate tasks such as validating digital assets, configuring simulation environments, and generating physically accurate virtual worlds before deployment.
The Omniverse libraries provide modular software components rather than a single application. Therefore, organizations can integrate only the capabilities they need into engineering, manufacturing, robotics, or design platforms. NVIDIA says this approach reduces development complexity while improving scalability for enterprise AI deployments.
In addition, the toolkit supports deployment across local workstations and cloud infrastructure. Developers can run workloads on systems ranging from NVIDIA RTX Spark desktops to DGX Station AI platforms, allowing businesses to scale projects according to their computing requirements.
Industry Partners Accelerate Enterprise Adoption
Several software companies have already begun integrating the new Omniverse libraries into their products. SideFX and PTC are among the first partners adopting the technology to help customers build simulation-ready 3D workflows for physical AI applications. Furthermore, the integrations aim to simplify the creation of digital twins, robotics simulations, and industrial automation systems.
The expansion reflects NVIDIA’s broader strategy to make AI agents more capable in engineering and industrial environments. While earlier AI systems focused mainly on text and data, the latest toolkit enables agents to interact with virtual representations of physical spaces.
