The UAE has introduced a national accelerator programme to help cybersecurity startups grow, innovate, and expand into global markets. The initiative offers mentorship, investment opportunities, and strategic partnerships while strengthening the country’s position as a regional and international cybersecurity hub.
Moreover, the programme brings together the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development, the UAE Cyber Security Council, and CyberE71 to support entrepreneurs developing advanced cybersecurity solutions.
The announcement came during an event at MZN Hub Al Ain attended by senior government officials and industry leaders.
Startups receive funding access and expert support
The accelerator follows an existing Memorandum of Understanding between the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development and the UAE Cyber Security Council. Consequently, the programme builds on their collaboration to encourage entrepreneurship, foster innovation, and strengthen the national cybersecurity ecosystem.
Participants will benefit from a structured acceleration journey that helps them develop scalable cybersecurity technologies. Additionally, the programme provides specialized mentorship, expert guidance, partnership opportunities, investor access, and connections with key industry stakeholders.
As a result, startups will improve their ability to compete in one of the world’s fastest-growing technology sectors. Furthermore, continued collaboration with CyberE71 will help emerging companies strengthen their competitiveness in both domestic and international markets.
Initiative supports digital economy and innovation
The accelerator also supports the UAE’s broader strategy to build a resilient digital economy while encouraging innovation-driven businesses. Therefore, the programme aims to create a new generation of cybersecurity companies capable of serving local and global markets.
In addition, the initiative seeks to strengthen the presence of Emirati cybersecurity firms by helping them transform innovative ideas into scalable businesses with long-term economic value.
Applications will support entrepreneurs developing advanced cybersecurity technologies while contributing to economic diversification and sustainable growth. Ultimately, the programme reinforces the UAE’s ambition to become a leading global hub for cybersecurity innovation and advanced digital solutions.
