Google has unveiled Antigravity 2.0 at its annual I/O developer conference, expanding its agentic coding platform into a standalone desktop application designed to coordinate multiple autonomous AI agents in parallel. As a result, the company is pushing developers beyond single-prompt interactions toward collaborative, always-on AI workflows.
The new desktop application serves as a central hub for agent interaction. Additionally, it introduces dynamic subagents for parallel workflows, scheduled background automation, and integrations across Google AI Studio, Android, and Firebase.
New Tools and Pricing Changes
Alongside the desktop platform, Google launched Antigravity CLI, a lightweight terminal tool for command-line developers, as well as the Antigravity SDK, which provides programmatic access to the same agent infrastructure used across its broader AI ecosystem.
“We encourage Gemini CLI users to migrate to Antigravity CLI,” Google stated in its developer blog post.
Powering the platform is Gemini 3.5 Flash, which reportedly outperforms Gemini 3.1 Pro across nearly all benchmarks while running significantly faster than competing frontier models.
Google also introduced a new $100-per-month AI Ultra plan, offering five times higher Antigravity usage limits than the AI Pro tier, alongside 20 TB of storage and YouTube Premium. Meanwhile, the top-tier AI Ultra subscription price has been reduced from $250 to $200 per month, increasing usage limits substantially.
Broader AI Agent Ambitions
Beyond Antigravity, Google announced Managed Agents in the Gemini API, allowing developers to launch agents that can reason, use tools, and execute code within isolated Linux environments through a single API call.
Additionally, the company launched the Build with Gemini XPRIZE Hackathon, featuring a $2 million prize pool. Consequently, this initiative signals a broader push to accelerate developer adoption of AI agent ecosystems.
