Gewan Holding, IOPn Drive UAE AI and Blockchain Innovation
Abu Dhabi’s Gewan Holding, part of the NG9 Holding conglomerate, has partnered with IOPn to accelerate the development of sovereign AI, blockchain, and digital identity solutions. Consequently, the UAE aims to strengthen its position as a global hub for technological leadership.
At the core of the collaboration is a sovereign AI stack powered by NVIDIA GPUs and anchored by IOPn’s OPN Chain. This decentralized infrastructure combines high-performance AI computing with a sovereign digital identity layer. As a result, governments, enterprises, and citizens can operate in secure, compliant, and future-proof environments.
Driving Blockchain and Digital Innovation
The partnership will enhance digital governance, finance, healthcare, and real estate while enabling real-world asset tokenization, biometric authentication, and modern payment infrastructures. In doing so, it strengthens digital trust, unlocks liquidity, and provides regulated access to global capital markets.
Among the flagship initiatives is Project ATLAS (Advance Tokenised Liquid-cooled AI Stack), developed by IOPn with Betabytes, an official NVIDIA Cloud Partner. ATLAS delivers sovereign-grade AI infrastructure within the broader OPN ecosystem, which also encompasses digital financial infrastructure, asset tokenization, and an AI Academy for nurturing national talent.
Building a Scalable Digital Ecosystem
Gewan Holding has also launched the Gewan AI Hub to encourage wider AI adoption across industries. This initiative complements IOPn’s projects by aligning with the UAE’s national AI and digital transformation strategies.
