Google has introduced Pixel Care+, a new device protection program that replaces Google Preferred Care and Fi Device Protection in the U.S. The program promises broader coverage and faster service for eligible Google hardware. Moreover, current monthly subscribers will be migrated to Pixel Care+ over the coming months.

Pixel Care+ includes unlimited claims for accidental damage, extended warranty coverage, and mechanical failures. In addition, the plan provides $0 screen and battery repairs and $0 post-warranty malfunction claims. Furthermore, customers receive genuine Google parts and replacements, plus priority support from Pixel experts. The plan also offers self-service claims on the Google Store and optional loss-and-theft protection for added peace of mind.
Availability, pricing, and claims process
Pixel Care+ is available now in the U.S. for new eligible devices, including Pixel 8 and up, Pixel Watch 2 and up, the Pixel Tablet, and select Fitbit models. For example, coverage for a Pixel 10 is priced at $10 per month or $199 for two years. Additionally, the program can be added within 60 days of purchase. Claims may be opened through the Google Store or the My Pixel App, and replacement devices qualify for upgraded shipping options such as next-day delivery.
