Microsoft’s Copilot AI assistant is now officially part of Samsung’s 2025 TVs and smart monitors. With this integration, viewers can ask for movie recommendations, spoiler-free episode recaps, or general information without leaving their screen.
On TV, Copilot appears as a “friendly, animated presence.” It looks similar to the opalescent design Microsoft revealed last month, but its color makes it resemble a personified chickpea. The small beige figure floats across the screen, bouncing gently while its mouth moves in sync with its responses.
Accessing Copilot on Samsung Devices
The assistant shows up automatically on compatible Samsung models. It is available within the Tizen OS homescreen, Samsung Daily Plus, and Click to Search. To use it, you can either activate it with a voice command or select it with your remote. Pressing the mic button lets you speak directly to Copilot, making the interaction smooth and conversational.
Microsoft also notes that signing into the app allows for a more “personal” experience. Once logged in, Copilot can recall previous conversations and adapt its suggestions based on your preferences. This extra layer of customization ensures the AI feels more helpful over time.
Expanding AI Across More Screens
Copilot is launching now on Samsung’s 2025 lineup, which includes Micro RGB, Neo QLED, OLED, The Frame Pro, The Frame, and the M7, M8, and M9 smart monitors. Microsoft previously revealed plans to bring the assistant to LG TVs as well, showing the company’s intent to expand Copilot’s reach across home entertainment devices.
