Gargash Motors Launches AION and HYPTEC EV Brands in UAE
Gargash Motors has officially launched GAC Motor’s cutting-edge electric vehicle (EV) brands, AION and HYPTEC, at a landmark event held at the EXPO Dubai Exhibition Centre. This strategic launch underscores the UAE’s rapid transformation toward a more sustainable and intelligent transport future.
The event, attended by dignitaries, media, and auto industry leaders, featured the unveiling of three advanced EVs: the AION ES, HYPTEC HT, and a concept preview of the HYPTEC SSR electric supercar. It marked one of the most significant entries of next-generation electric vehicles into the UAE’s premium mobility market.
AION and HYPTEC: Driving Accessibility and Aspiration
AION, built with urban mobility in mind, is designed to democratize electric driving. The AION ES comes equipped with a 55.2 kWh battery, offering a power output of 100 kW and an impressive range of up to 442 km*. It supports 800V fast charging, ensuring minimal downtime, while its intelligent driver assistance systems elevate daily commuting safety.
Priced from AED 99,900, the AION ES includes an 8-year warranty and offers colour choices like Pure White, Glamor Black, Ultra-fast Silver, and Holographic Silver — catering to diverse driver preferences.
Meanwhile, HYPTEC is geared toward performance-driven luxury. The HYPTEC HT, available in Elite and Ultra trims, features a 72.7 kWh battery, 180 kW power, and a top range of 510 km*. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.8 seconds. Standout features include Nappa leather seats, a 14.6-inch HD touchscreen, Dolby Atmos audio, and massage functions, delivering a refined driving experience.
Starting at AED 177,900, the HYPTEC HT also includes an 8-year warranty and arrives in a rich colour palette including Orange and Dark Red.
HYPTEC SSR and GAC’s Digital Ecosystem Lead Innovation Push
Further demonstrating its engineering prowess, GAC Motor revealed the HYPTEC SSR — a performance EV supercar that encapsulates the brand’s technological edge. Built on a 900V SiC platform, the tri-motor all-wheel-drive system produces a staggering 1,225 hp and 12,000 Nm of torque. The SSR accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 1.9 seconds (Ultimate Track version) and offers a 506 km* range via a 74.7 kWh battery.
In addition, the launch introduced the GAC Customer App, a smart mobility companion offering multi-language support and full digital control over vehicle functions. Users can remotely start their car, book services, track performance, and access essential resources through a seamless mobile interface.
