14 space experiments to be conducted by Saudi astronauts

The Saudi Space Commission has announced that it is preparing a manned spaceflight program, with Saudi astronauts set to conduct 14 scientific experiments in space. The program aims to explore and develop various sectors, and the experiments will cover different areas of research, including the brain and nervous system, immune cells, cloud seeding, and educational and awareness-raising initiatives in microgravity environments.

Out of the 14 experiments, six will focus on the brain and nervous system, while four will study immune cells. The remaining three will be dedicated to educational and awareness-raising purposes in microgravity, while the final experiment will be related to cloud seeding.

The program is a significant milestone for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s space exploration efforts, as it continues to pursue its goal of becoming a leading player in the global space industry. The Saudi Space Commission is leading the charge in this regard, working to develop the country’s space capabilities and foster international collaborations with other space agencies and entities.
