Zoho Corporation, a leading global technology firm, has unveiled a brand new unified communications platform, Trident, and reinforced collaboration technologies aimed at simplifying communication across channels and enhancing overall digital adoption for businesses. The launch is available in the UAE market.
Trident is Zoho’s first native desktop app for email and chat, providing a one-stop-shop for communication and collaboration, including mail, messages, audio/video calls, calendar, tasks, and more. The platform represents a shift away from disparate product experiences, as Zoho endeavours to offer its clients a unified platform.
Hyther Nizam, President of Zoho Middle East and Africa, stated that the increased adoption of Zoho Workplace over the past year as businesses move towards a digital-forward hybrid work model has spurred Zoho’s commitment to continuous innovation. Zoho Workplace’s goal is to enable businesses to consolidate their work in such a way that the distinction between apps disappears.
In addition to Trident, Zoho Workplace has introduced Zoho Voice, which is now a comprehensive Phone System that can be integrated into Zoho’s team collaboration tools, Zoho Cliq, and Zoho Meeting. The new unified solution also includes Zoho Webinar, within the Zoho Meeting app, enabling businesses to broadcast themselves to thousands of attendees and engage with them through Polls and Q&As. The platform has introduced an AI-powered grammar tool, BluePencil, and a Universal Drag & Drop functionality, allowing users to multitask efficiently across workplace products.
