Zain Saudi Arabia enters an agreement with AWS to advance enterprise solutions

Zain Saudi Arabia (KSA) has formed a strategic partnership with Amazon Web Service (AWS) to offer advanced cloud services and cutting-edge solutions to its enterprise customers. The partnership leverages the power of Zain KSA’s 5G network and AWS’s high-performance cloud platforms to create new tools and services that can enhance 5G network performance, and security, and support the deployment of new applications for enterprise customers.

The announcement was made during Zain KSA’s participation at LEAP2023, a global tech event held in Riyadh. The theme of the event was “Into New Worlds.” Zain KSA and AWS have already completed a successful trial of a 5G private network, which marks a significant milestone in deploying cloud-native infrastructure for enterprise customers in the kingdom.

In a statement, the Chief Technology Officer of Zain KSA, Eng. Abdulrahman AlMufadda, said, “Zain KSA and AWS share a vision to form a strategic partnership that aims to deliver innovative solutions that will drive growth and innovation in the industry, particularly in cloud computing. Our goal at Zain KSA is to bring to market a more reliable and secure enterprise networking solution that can help businesses operate more efficiently and effectively while supporting the digital transformation journey in line with Saudi Vision 2030. This partnership will provide a platform for other companies to benefit from the technology, and we are excited to see the impact that our cloud-native solutions will have on the future of enterprise productivity in the Kingdom.”

Zain KSA continues to support local content and emerging projects in the Saudi ICT sector and has joined LEAP for the second year in a row, with the theme “Tech for Sustainability.” The company supports the efforts of the event’s organizers, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) and the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones (SAFCSP).
