Yango Group, a global technology company, has officially launched its free Transport Service in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. Integrated into the Yango Superapp, this feature provides public transport routes and schedules, helping residents and visitors efficiently navigate the Emirates. The launch marks another step in Yango’s growing UAE ecosystem which already includes ride-hailing, delivery, and car rental services highlighting its commitment to simplifying urban living through innovative solutions.
Simplified Journey Planning with the Yango Superapp
The new service offers comprehensive access to local and intercity transport information. In Abu Dhabi, users can now view schedules for 33 city routes and 82 intercity routes across more than 10 localities. In Sharjah, the feature covers 12 city and 13 intercity bus lines.
Using the app is easy: by selecting “Transport” from the homepage and entering a destination, users receive detailed journey options including travel times, route maps, and transfer points. Whether commuting from Sharjah Downtown to the Mall of the Emirates or navigating between Abu Dhabi’s key landmarks like the Louvre or Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, the app ensures a smooth and informed travel experience.
Smart Mobility for Events and Everyday Life
Islam Abdul Karim, Regional Head of Yango Middle East, shared, “Our vision transcends transportation modes — we simplify life whether you ride a bus, hail a taxi, or rent a car. This launch reflects our core belief: seamless daily mobility shouldn’t depend on how you move, but on how effortlessly technology can empower your choices across the Emirates.”
With major events like the Jennifer Lopez concert and UFC Fight Night at Etihad Arena in July, the service provides a practical alternative to traffic and parking challenges. Similarly, Sharjah’s month-long Summer Promotions across malls and public venues make the timing of this service ideal for both residents and tourists.
Already live in Dubai, with over 185 regular bus routes, 15 mall shuttles, and 15 water transport lines, the expanded service further solidifies Yango’s investment in the UAE’s smart mobility infrastructure.
