WiFi Calling Service to Launch in Egypt This Week, Enhancing Mobile Coverage

WiFi calling services, allowing users to make voice calls over internet connections instead of traditional mobile networks, will be introduced in Egypt this week, according to an official source in Al Borsa News. The National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) is in the final stages of granting the necessary approvals.

This new service aims to address mobile coverage issues, especially in crowded urban areas and high-rise buildings. It will leverage 4G networks, supported by mobile operators, to offer high-quality voice communication as an alternative to traditional mobile network calls.
