UAE’s Ministry of Economy halts e-services on Saturday

The Ministry of Economy in the United Arab Emirates has announced that it will temporarily halt all electronic services on Saturday. The primary reason behind this suspension is to enable the ministry to develop and upgrade its digital services.

To inform the public, the UAE residents were notified of this temporary halt through an advisory that was posted on the ministry’s website. The notification stated that the MOEC e-services would not be available to users from 4 pm on Saturday, March 11, 2023, to 12 am on Sunday, March 12, 2023.

It is worth noting that this suspension will be in effect for a period of eight hours, during which time the ministry’s e-services will not be accessible to users. This move aims to ensure that the Ministry’s digital infrastructure is updated to provide better services and a more efficient digital experience for users.

The Ministry of Economy’s decision to halt its e-services temporarily is a reflection of its commitment to enhancing digital infrastructure and providing high-quality services to its customers. It is an important step towards achieving a more advanced and digitally-enabled economy in the UAE.
