Since its launch in January 2022, the UAE Verify platform has certified more than 21.7 million digital documents. Developed under the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA), this initiative supports the UAE’s broader digital transformation goals. The platform allows instant verification of government-issued digital documents, eliminating the need for physical copies.

By enabling seamless access to official information, UAE Verify strengthens trust in digital processes. The platform currently authenticates 55 types of documents issued by 22 federal and local government bodies. As a result, both public and private sectors benefit from streamlined workflows and improved operational efficiency.

Moreover, this system aligns with the UAE’s vision to create a secure, integrated digital government. Rather than relying on manual verification, users now have a faster and more reliable alternative.

Harnessing Blockchain for Secure Verification

What makes UAE Verify particularly robust is its use of blockchain technology. This system operates as an immutable, shared ledger that records transactions, contracts, and other types of data in real time. Because of this, every verified document benefits from strong security features, including encryption and traceability.

Furthermore, blockchain guarantees that data cannot be altered once entered. This feature enhances both document authenticity and user trust. In turn, organizations are empowered to handle sensitive information without compromising privacy.

Additionally, the platform promotes consistency in document verification. As digital interactions increase across sectors, having a dependable, standardized method of validation becomes even more essential.

In doing so, the platform not only accelerates service delivery but also fosters long-term sustainability.

Importantly, the continued expansion of this service encourages broader public trust in digital infrastructure. Thanks to technologies like blockchain, the UAE is better positioned to maintain secure and efficient digital systems.

Overall, UAE Verify plays a pivotal role in driving forward the nation’s digital evolution—making document verification faster, safer, and more reliable for all.
