UAE Unveils AI-Driven Government Performance System

UAE leaders launch AI-powered government performance monitoring platform in Dubai.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has launched the Proactive Government Performance System. This new initiative represents a major step forward in enhancing government efficiency and delivering on the objectives of the We the UAE 2031 vision.

The system leverages cutting-edge artificial intelligence, predictive modeling, and real-time analytics to monitor performance and support timely decision-making. It replaces manual processes with intelligent automation, thus optimizing resource utilization and ensuring that national strategies are executed more effectively.

Real-Time Insights and Tangible Impact

The newly launched system processes more than 150 million data points every month. It generates over 50,000 proactive insights annually, and it is projected to save more than 250,000 working hours each year. Consequently, the government expects an average performance improvement of 60 percent across departments.

Furthermore, the system increases self-management capacities in government entities by up to 90 percent. It supports over 250,000 users and includes the training of 200 employees in performance management and data analysis. These efforts help foster a well-prepared, future-ready workforce.

Among its features, the platform delivers 45 times more results annually than earlier models. By replacing the need for manual data entry, it ensures faster feedback loops and enhances transparency. Additionally, it produces real-time executive summaries and forecasts future performance trends, making it a vital tool for predictive governance.

Sustaining Innovation and Excellence

The launch ceremony was attended by key leaders including His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai; His Excellency Mohammad Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs; and His Excellency Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications.

The system’s interconnected structure promotes seamless data flow and benchmarks performance against international best practices. As a result, it supports institutional innovation while improving public trust and service outcomes. It also ensures data accuracy, reduces delays, and provides dynamic reporting to support leaders in making evidence-based decisions.

Notably, this fourth-generation platform marks the continuation of the UAE’s journey in institutional performance monitoring. It follows earlier iterations starting with the Adaa System in 2008, evolving through Adaa 2.0 in 2013, and Adaa 3.0 in 2019. With its AI-powered capabilities, the Proactive Government Performance System reinforces the UAE’s strategic foresight and long-standing commitment to governance excellence.
