UAE Ministry of Foreign Trade Partners Presight To Launch AI Trade Platform

UAE AI-powered trade platform launch

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Trade has signed an agreement with Presight to develop a new AI-powered trade platform. Notably, the Ministry of Foreign Trade AI Platform will deliver a suite of tools designed to enable smarter and faster foreign trade. As a result, the initiative aims to strengthen the UAE’s position as a global trade leader.

Real-Time Trade Intelligence Across Core Functions

The platform will be embedded across all core functions of the UAE Ministry of Foreign Trade. Additionally, the Ministry aims to become the world’s first AI-driven trade ministry through this rollout.

The platform will analyze millions of data points from ports, shipping routes, international laws, trade deals, and customs records in real time. Consequently, it will provide detailed intelligence for both public and private sector stakeholders. Moreover, it will help forecast disruptions and highlight new growth opportunities before they escalate.

This intelligence will also help businesses understand rules, regulations, and market access requirements across jurisdictions. Furthermore, it will provide AI-driven services such as smart certificates of origin. Meanwhile, the Ministry will gain stronger analytics capabilities to support policymaking and negotiation of trade deals.

Part Of A Broader Push To Expand Global Trade

The Ministry of Foreign Trade AI Platform is one of eight strategic pillars under the UAE Global Center of Trade program. Importantly, the program was launched in November 2025 to strengthen the UAE’s position as a global gateway for goods and services. In addition, it aims to accelerate national foreign trade targets and open new markets for exports.

The broader program also supports growth in non-oil exports while attracting international trading and manufacturing firms. Moreover, it empowers exporters with new tools and technologies to compete globally.
