Abdulla Al Hamed Launches UAE Media Experts Initiative to Advance Strategic Development
Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, Chairman of the National Media Office and the UAE Media Council, inaugurated the “Media Experts” initiative in Dubai. This landmark initiative aims to establish advisory committees within the National Media Office to provide strategic insights and innovative recommendations, aligning with the leadership’s vision of leveraging media as a pivotal partner in sustainable development.
The initiative reflects the UAE’s commitment to enhancing the media sector’s contribution to the national economy and its role in addressing societal needs. These advisory committees will work on developing targeted strategies, proposing media policies, reviewing content, and offering practical recommendations to elevate the media sector’s efficiency.
Abdulla Al Hamed emphasized the importance of engaging diverse media professionals to benefit from their expertise, creating a collaborative environment that fosters innovation and aligns with global advancements in the industry.
Dr. Jamal Al Kaabi, Director-General of the National Media Office, outlined the advisory committees’ scope, which spans digital media, radio and television, print and written media, television, film, theatre production, and media affairs. The committees aim to enhance the UAE’s media sector, ensuring it remains competitive and aligned with professional standards while contributing meaningfully to the nation’s progress.
