Mohammed Hamad Al Kuwaiti, the Head of Cyber Security for the Government of the UAE, has recently highlighted the country’s efforts to prevent cyberattacks on strategic national sectors. He stated that the UAE Cyber Security Council cooperates with partners to deter over 50,000 cyberattacks every day on crucial sectors such as banking, finance, health, oil, and gas.
In his statement to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), Al Kuwaiti emphasized that all cyberattacks are proactively and efficiently countered to protect the UAE’s digital sphere.
