United Arab Bank (UAB) has partnered with UAE-based fintech firm Lune to deliver a more personalized, AI-powered mobile banking experience. The partnership aims to enhance how customers interact with their financial data, offering smarter, data-enriched features through an intuitive user interface.

By integrating Lune’s technology, UAB will transform raw transaction data into actionable insights. As a result, users will gain deeper financial visibility and improved decision-making capabilities. Additionally, the collaboration reinforces UAB’s focus on innovation and customer-centric banking solutions.

The agreement was formalized at a signing ceremony attended by Emre Yalcin, Head of Retail Banking at UAB, alongside Lune’s co-founders and co-CEOs, Helal Tariq Lootah and Alexandre Soued, and senior executives from both sides.

Delivering Smarter, AI-Driven Customer Journeys

Using Lune’s AI-powered platform, UAB plans to introduce features like contextual recommendations, personalised offers, and advanced budgeting tools. Because these tools are integrated into conversational digital interfaces, customers will experience more natural and engaging interactions.

According to Emre Yalcin, “While the underlying technologies have existed for some time, we at UAB were not entirely convinced about the maturity of the outcomes until now. Partnering with Lune, a homegrown fintech with deep expertise in the UAE’s payment ecosystem and cutting-edge technologies, gives us confidence in delivering the enriched digital experience our customers expect. This partnership enables us to offer context-rich financial insights, unlocking new opportunities for customer engagement, operational efficiency, and long-term growth.”

This step not only enhances user convenience but also allows UAB to expand its digital footprint in a competitive banking landscape. As banks continue evolving to meet customer expectations, partnerships like this highlight the growing importance of real-time, data-driven services.
