The Dubai Future District Fund (DFDF) announces the launch of its Venture Fellows programme and invites eligible aspiring Emirati venture capitalists and entrepreneurs to apply. The objective of the programme is to empower the next generation of Emiratis in venture capital by sharing with them the knowledge and practical skills required to drive innovation or become tech investors and entrepreneurs. This is the first venture capital-focused program of its kind in the UAE that focuses on empowering the local community, with a curriculum that is tailored to the region.
The programme will commence on 1 February 2023, and consists of four modules spread over 12 months with digital and in-person touchpoints. The workshops will be delivered by experienced venture capital investors that are committed to empowering the next generation of Emirati investors and entrepreneurs.
“Our fellows will gain the knowledge, skills and network needed to thrive in the venture capital ecosystem,” said Sharif El Badawi, CEO of the Dubai Future District Fund.
Emiratis between the ages of 25 and 40 with an interest in venture capital investment and technology entrepreneurship are encouraged to apply to DFDF’s Venture Fellows 2023 program by submitting an application online at https://fellows.dfdf.vc by January 20, 2023.
