TDRA of UAE unveils three projects to transform the country

The Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced the launch of three major transformation projects as part of its “We the UAE 2031” vision. The three projects include the Digital Vault, the Children’s Communication Services Programme, and the Digital Customer Journey Quality Measurement Programme. The Digital Vault project will enable the telecom, banking, insurance, and private sectors to design and provide seamless digital services to customers, enhancing the quality of life in the UAE. The project will use a digital vault that allows reliable data and document sharing with the customer’s approval, ensuring ease, trust, and privacy.

The Children’s Communication Services Programme aims to provide a safe and secure environment for children to communicate online. The programme will focus on developing applications and services that are specifically designed for children, taking into account their needs and requirements. It will also ensure the privacy and safety of children by implementing strict measures against cyberbullying and online harassment.

The Digital Customer Journey Quality Measurement Programme will enable businesses to measure and evaluate their digital customer experience. The programme will provide a set of standard metrics and indicators that businesses can use to assess their customer journey quality, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to enhance their digital customer experience. The programme aims to improve the overall customer experience and increase customer satisfaction, which will lead to increased business growth and revenue.

These projects align with the UAE’s “We the UAE 2031” vision and its integrated development programme for the next decade, covering social, economic, investment, and development aspects. They also fall within the Digital Transformation Strategy and aim to consolidate the foundations and concepts of a comprehensive and integrated digital life in the UAE. The TDRA’s Director General, Eng Majed Sultan Al Mesmar, said that these transformation projects “represent an interpretation of several pillars of We the UAE 2031 vision, which enhances the UAE’s future readiness,” and will contribute to the country’s global position as a leading and advanced country in the field of digital government and emerging technologies.
