Microsoft has announced the launch of Microsoft 365 Copilot, an AI tool designed to automate and accelerate tedious tasks such as creating PowerPoint presentations, analyzing sales data, and catching up on missed meetings. The tool, which uses OpenAI's ChatGPT technology for natural language processing, is embedded within popular Microsoft Office apps such as Word, Outlook, Teams, and Excel. Copilot is being tested with 20 enterprise customers and is expected to be made available to a larger user base in the coming months, with no details released yet regarding potential additional costs.

Microsoft Word will soon support the option to "Paste Text Only" through a keyboard shortcut. The word processor will allow users to paste text without any formatting by using Ctrl + Shift + V on Windows or the Cmd + Shift + V on Mac. That combination of keys already pastes plain text in Microsoft Teams, Word for the web, Gmail, and some other applications. It's now making its way to the desktop versions of Word.
