stc pay Bahrain has partnered with Payment International Enterprise (PIE) to expand QR code payments across Bahrain. As a result, customers can now make payments by scanning QR codes generated on PIE’s point-of-sale (POS) terminals using the stc pay mobile app.

The integration enables instant transactions without requiring cash or physical payment cards. Additionally, it connects stc pay users with PIE’s growing merchant network across retail, hospitality, and service sectors. Consequently, merchants gain another digital payment option while reaching a broader customer base.

The collaboration aligns with Bahrain’s ongoing efforts to strengthen digital payment services and reduce cash dependency. Moreover, the integration helps merchants improve transaction efficiency and simplify payment processing.

Metin Zavrak, CEO of stc pay, said, “By enabling stc pay QR payments on PIE’s POS network, we are expanding access and convenience for our customers while giving merchants a secure and efficient payment solution that meets the pace of technological change in the financial sector.
