Sony Unveils WF-C710N Earbuds With AI-Powered Calling Features
Sony has introduced the WF-C710N, its latest truly wireless ANC earbuds, on July 10. These earbuds are the successor to the WF-C700N and feature smart calling technology powered by AI and machine learning. With integrated voice pickup and noise filtering, users can enjoy clearer calls even in busy environments.
To enhance awareness, the earbuds include a customizable Ambient Mode. This mode offers 20 adjustable levels, accessible through the Sony Connect app or via adaptive sound control. The adaptive system automatically adjusts audio settings based on the user’s location or activity whether at home, the gym, or work ensuring consistent sound optimization.
Dual Microphone ANC and Enhanced Sound Quality
The WF-C710N earbuds feature dual sensory technology, using two microphones to detect and cancel surrounding noise effectively. Alongside this, a 5 mm driver and Sony’s Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE) work together to deliver balanced audio across music genres.
Additionally, users can fine-tune sound settings with a customizable EQ function in the Sony Connect app. Touch controls make it easy to manage playback, adjust volume, or skip tracks. Features like Instant Pause/Play and quick access further streamline the listening experience.
Extended Battery, Fast Charging, and Water Resistance
Battery life is another major highlight. The WF-C710N offers up to 40 hours of playback on a full charge. Moreover, a quick 5-minute charge provides an hour of listening time, making it highly convenient for users on the go.
These earbuds are also IPX4-rated, making them resistant to water splashes. A multipoint connection allows pairing with two devices at once, offering more flexibility.
