Sony has introduced the Pulse Elevate, its first wireless desktop speaker system designed for PlayStation and PC gaming. The new product expands the Pulse audio lineup beyond gaming headsets and offers a speaker-based experience for players who prefer desktop audio setups.
Pulse Elevate features and audio technology
The Pulse Elevate is a pair of wireless desktop speakers built for PS5, PC and Mac. Additionally, it supports portable devices such as PlayStation Portal and smartphones, giving users more flexibility across different platforms.
The speakers use planar magnetic drivers combined with built-in woofers. As a result, they aim to deliver a wider audio range with deeper bass and clearer sound. Furthermore, PS5 users can access Tempest 3D AudioTech support in compatible games for a more immersive spatial audio experience.
The system uses PlayStation Link technology to provide low-latency and lossless wireless audio. Moreover, it also supports Bluetooth connectivity for broader device compatibility.
Key features and user experience
The speakers can maintain multiple connections at the same time. Therefore, users can hear game audio through PlayStation Link while streaming music or handling phone calls through Bluetooth.
Additionally, each speaker includes a built-in microphone with AI-powered noise rejection. This feature allows players to communicate through voice chat without needing a separate headset.
The design also focuses on portability. For example, users can adjust the speaker orientation, recharge the built-in batteries and use the included charging docks for convenient placement away from a desk.
Furthermore, the speakers include physical controls for volume adjustment, muting and PlayStation Link functions. Users can also customize audio settings, including equalizer presets and microphone options, through PS5 or PC settings.

The Pulse Elevate will launch on November 12, 2026. Meanwhile, pre-orders will begin on September 1, 2026, at 10 am local time, including 10 am ET in the United States.
