Samsung Officially Launches Galaxy Z Tri-Fold in the US

Galaxy Z TriFold folded display

The Galaxy Z TriFold has officially arrived in the U.S., signaling a major shift in foldable device design. Notably, the device expands into a 10-inch display while still folding into a pocketable form. As a result, it bridges the gap between smartphones and tablets more seamlessly than before. Moreover, the double-folding structure showcases the most advanced multi-folding display technology to date. While unfolded, the device delivers a tablet-like experience, yet it remains compact when closed.

Power, AI, and Immersive Performance

At just 3.9mm at its thinnest point, the Galaxy Z TriFold balances extreme slimness with flagship-level power. Additionally, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform ensures smooth performance across demanding tasks. Because of this chipset, Galaxy AI features run efficiently on the large screen. For instance, tools such as Sketch to Image, Photo Assist, and Gemini Live take full advantage of the 10-inch canvas. Meanwhile, users can multitask across three panels or focus on a single immersive workspace.

Built for Durability and Daily Use

Durability remains a key priority, and the Galaxy Z TriFold reflects that focus clearly. Therefore, the device uses a titanium hinge and a reinforced shock-absorbing overcoat on the main display. During testing, the structure endured 200,000 multi-folding cycles, ensuring long-term reliability. Furthermore, the device launches in a Crafted Black finish with 512GB of storage. Finally, the Galaxy Z TriFold releases on January 30 through brand retail channels, priced at $2,899 USD.
