Samsung Galaxy A37 and A57: Specs, Design, Camera Features Explained
Samsung has introduced the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 as new mid-range smartphones. Notably, both devices aim to deliver strong performance and AI features at competitive prices. Moreover, they will launch globally on April 10, although regional pricing remains unconfirmed.
Both phones feature a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display. As a result, users can expect deeper blacks and vibrant colours. In addition, the 120Hz refresh rate ensures smoother scrolling and video playback. Furthermore, both devices reach peak brightness of 1,900 nits, which improves outdoor visibility.
The A57, however, includes slimmer bezels for a more immersive display. It also adds Enhanced Vision Booster for better clarity in sunlight. Additionally, they carry IP68 protection, which allows water resistance up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes.

The A57 runs on the Exynos 1680 processor. Consequently, it handles demanding applications and gaming more efficiently. In comparison, the A37 uses the Exynos 1430 chip, which suits everyday use and lighter gaming. Therefore, users can choose based on performance needs.

Both devices ship with Android 16 and One UI 8.5. Moreover, they include AI-powered tools designed to enhance usability. For example, Circle to Search enables instant lookups directly from the screen. In addition, Object Eraser removes unwanted elements from photos.
Furthermore, AI Voice Recorder provides transcription and translation features. At the same time, call transcription automatically records conversations in text form. Therefore, these tools improve productivity and convenience.
Samsung also promises six years of updates. As a result, both devices offer long-term software support comparable to flagship phones. In terms of storage, both models come with 128GB and 256GB options. However, the A57 also offers a 12GB RAM variant for advanced multitasking.
If you want a balanced mid-range phone, both models present strong options. However, the A37 suits users seeking value, while the A57 delivers more power and refined design. That said, neither device includes wireless charging or a telephoto lens. Therefore, users should consider their priorities before making a decision.
