Samsung has unveiled the Freestyle+, a new portable projector designed to adapt intelligently across different viewing environments. Rather than focusing only on portability, the device emphasizes automated setup and consistent image quality.
Smarter setup with AI-driven display tools
The Freestyle+ will appear at CES 2026 in Las Vegas next week. Building on the original Freestyle design, the updated model introduces AI OptiScreen, a set of tools that reduce manual adjustments. As a result, features such as auto keystone correction, real-time focus, screen fitting, and wall calibration work together to align the image automatically. Consequently, the projector can adapt to walls, ceilings, or uneven surfaces with minimal user input.
Brighter visuals and flexible design
The new model delivers a noticeable brightness upgrade. With a 430 ISO lumens light source, the Freestyle+ offers nearly double the brightness of the earlier version. At the same time, it retains the familiar cylindrical body and rotating stand. Therefore, users can adjust projection angles easily without mounts or tripods. This flexibility supports use across rooms and informal setups.
Audio, software, and platform integration
On the audio side, the projector includes a built-in 360-degree speaker. In addition, Q-Symphony support allows audio to sync with compatible Samsung soundbars. Meanwhile, the Freestyle+ runs on Samsung’s smart TV platform. As a result, users can access streaming apps, Samsung TV Plus, and the Samsung Gaming Hub without external devices. Although Samsung has confirmed its CES showcase, pricing and availability details remain undisclosed.
