Quantum Innovation Summit 2026 Brings “Quantum and Emerging Frontiers” to Dubai
The Quantum Innovation Summit 2026 will take place from 28 to 30 September 2026 at the Grand Hyatt Dubai Conference & Exhibition Centre. The third edition will bring together government authorities, research institutions, technology companies, investors, academics, and innovators from across the UAE and worldwide.
Hosted by the UAE Cyber Security Council and organized by Vernewell Group, the summit will focus on the theme “Quantum and Emerging Frontiers: Advancing Global Innovation and Technological Leadership.” Moreover, the event will explore quantum computing, communications, sensing, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, post-quantum security, advanced computing, photonics, space technologies, robotics, autonomous systems, and critical infrastructure.
Additionally, the programme follows a systems-based approach that connects advanced technologies with research, infrastructure, security, governance, investment, standards, supply chains, talent, and sovereign capabilities. Therefore, discussions will focus on technological sovereignty, national resilience, economic competitiveness, and trusted global partnerships.
AI will also play a larger role during the 2026 edition through new collaborations across the UAE’s artificial intelligence and advanced technology ecosystem. Furthermore, additional partnerships will introduce expertise in AI, advanced computing, government applications, cybersecurity, autonomous systems, and critical infrastructure.

The Summit brings together the institutions developing, governing, financing and deploying these capabilities, while connecting international expertise with the UAE’s growing research, infrastructure and technology ecosystem.”
Expanded Platform for Emerging Technologies
Now in its third edition, the Quantum Innovation Summit has become an internationally connected platform for quantum technologies and emerging innovations. Furthermore, international participation increased from 31 countries in 2024 to 52 countries in 2025, along with more than 20 diplomatic delegations.
The 2026 edition will move into a larger venue configuration with capacity for up to 3,000 participants. Additionally, more than 3,000 square metres will be dedicated to exhibitions and technology engagement.
The three-day programme will begin on 28 September with the Quantum Futures Forum. During the forum, experts will discuss technological readiness, governance, cybersecurity, standards, investment, infrastructure, and international cooperation.
Meanwhile, the Academic Aisle will support research exchange, while the Vernewell Quantum Fall School will focus on education and capability development. The MVA GEGSLA Symposium will also expand discussions into space and lunar systems.
On 29 and 30 September, the Main Summit Conference and Exhibition will combine executive sessions, technical discussions, demonstrations, and business engagement. Moreover, the EXPO Stage and B2B environments will support technology showcases, applied solutions, company announcements, and partnership opportunities.
UAE and Global Technology Collaboration
The UAE’s advanced technology ecosystem will remain a key part of the summit. Technology Innovation Institute (TII) will serve as Quantum Catalyst Sponsor and Prime Exhibitor, highlighting applied quantum research and engineering capabilities developed in Abu Dhabi.
Furthermore, QuantumGate will contribute expertise in post-quantum security, while e& UAE will provide perspectives on national connectivity and digital infrastructure. Additionally, the Center for Quantum and Topological Systems at NYU Abu Dhabi will support research excellence and talent development.
International participation will include IBM, Quantinuum, IonQ, ID Quantique, PsiQuantum, Thales, BCG, Q-CTRL, Pasqal, Quantum Computing INC, Classiq, and QuantumBasel. Moreover, government entities, infrastructure operators, academic institutions, investors, and technology partners will participate in the September programme.
The summit will also anchor Global Quantum Week, extending research, education, industry, and community engagement across the UAE and through selected international and online activities. On 1 October, TII Quantum Day in Abu Dhabi will provide selected participants with access to applied quantum research and infrastructure through visits to the Quantum Research Lab in Masdar City and the Quantum Optical Ground Station in Al Wathba.
Ultimately, the Quantum Innovation Summit 2026 will position “Quantum and Emerging Frontiers” as a framework for technological leadership. The event will connect advanced technologies with infrastructure, talent, sovereign capabilities, and international partnerships while strengthening the UAE’s role in global technology development.
