Presight has signed two Memoranda of Understanding with the Government of Azerbaijan to advance artificial intelligence across the country. One agreement focuses on executing the national AI Strategy 2025–2028, while the other is dedicated to AI in education. The MoUs were formalized during the official visit of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to Azerbaijan. They reflect a commitment to long-term cooperation in digital transformation and education.
Driving National AI Strategy
The MoU with the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport targets the implementation of Azerbaijan’s AI Strategy 2025–2028. Presight will provide AI strategy consulting, support the deployment of advanced technologies, and help drive government digital initiatives. The agreement also seeks to encourage AI talent, strengthen startup ecosystems, and foster innovation programs. By combining expertise and resources, both sides aim to create a dynamic environment that accelerates progress in artificial intelligence adoption.
Advancing AI in Education and Bilateral Ties
The second MoU, signed with the Ministry of Science and Education, focuses on embedding AI into the education system. Plans include AI tutors for students, assistants for educators, and the integration of Azerbaijani language models. Thomas Pramotedham, CEO of Presight, commented: “Presight is proud to partner with Azerbaijan in advancing its national AI strategy and in reimagining the future of education through cutting-edge technologies. Artificial intelligence is a powerful catalyst for progress, shaping economies, societies, and opportunities for future generations.”
These agreements build on the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement signed in July, which broadened UAE-Azerbaijan cooperation in technology, innovation, and education. The MoUs highlight a growing partnership that leverages AI to support both national development goals and regional collaboration.
