Porsche Design and Honor Unveil the AI-Powered Magic7 RSR Smartphone

Porsche Design and Honor have introduced their latest collaboration, the PORSCHE DESIGN HONOR Magic7 RSR smartphone. Slated for an early 2025 release, this “ultra-premium” device builds upon Honor’s flagship Magic7 Pro and marks the third creative partnership between the two brands.

Inspired by Porsche’s RSR (RennSport Rennwagen) philosophy, the Magic7 RSR blends cutting-edge technology with Porsche’s design aesthetics. Its hexagonal camera module, aerodynamic design inspired by the Taycan Turbo S, and symmetrically aligned rear cameras reflect the high-performance ethos of the German automaker.

Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen Elite Mobile Platform, the Magic7 RSR runs on Honor’s custom-built MagicOS 9.0, an AI-driven operating system. Key features include the Magic Portal, a central hub for AI capabilities, and pre-installed Google Gemini Assistant.

The smartphone boasts a triple rear camera setup featuring a 50MP main camera, a 200MP telephoto lens (with the industry’s largest f/1.88 aperture), and a 50MP wide camera. Advanced AI tools like AI Super Zoom, AI Enhanced Portrait, and Stage Mode elevate mobile photography to professional levels.
